Build a Great Reputation Online
Most people use online reviews and recommendations to help them make buying decisions. Once they have discovered (from Google Search and from your website) that your company can provide the products or services they require, it is very likely that they will conduct further research into your reputation, quality and customer service.
If your company is listed in Google My Business (and it should be) your prospective customers will be able to see a review summary on the search engine results page (see the example on the right).
Other places for reviews include Facebook and Trustpilot. There are also reviews on other online business directories such as Yelp. There are also specialist review sites such as Checkatrade and Trip Advisor.
Therefore, in order to help improve lead conversions, it is essential to build and manage your online reputation. Digency, working with our partners reputation.com can help you do that by…
- Monitoring your online reputation on social media and review sites
- Making it easy for your customers to give you reviews
- Showing reviews from third party sites on your own website
You need to get honest reviews from real customers who are delighted with your products and/or services. Whatever you do, do not get false reviews put up by your staff, your marketing agency or paid third parties. This is illegal and you will get found out – see our blog article How to Spot Fake Online Reviews.
